General Policies

Borden Rifles is a federally licensed manufacturer. Receivers or rifles can be picked up at our premises as long as the appropriate forms are filled out and approval for the transfer is received from PICS. Receivers can only be picked up by Pa Residents. Receivers sold to non-residents of PA have to be shipped to an ffl in the state of residence of the purchaser for transfer in that State. If receivers or rifles that are not currently the property of a customer (such as ones that were sent to us to customize, repair, or modify) are to be shipped for transfer, they are only shipped to type 01, 02 or 07 ffl holders for transfer. An Exception is made when the appropriate Import/Export Documentation and approval has occurred for those purchasers that are not US Citizens outside of the United States of America.

Effective April 3, 2008, complete rifle prices for new rifles on our web site or quoted over the telephone do not include Federal Excise Tax.

Borden products are custom made items and are primarily built to order. Down payments are required on all action and rifle orders. Due to the nature of the work, deposits are non-refundable. Deposits for actions or rifles cancelled before they are delivered will not be refunded.

All balances for actions and rifles are to be completely paid prior to the items being picked up or being shipped from our facility.

Borden Rifles stands behind our products and we guarantee our products to be free of manufacturing issues or defects. Once a customer has taken delivery of a rifle, they have 30 days to inspect and test fire the rifle. If any manufacturing faults are found, they are to be reported to Borden Rifles prior to the end of the 30 days. Borden Rifles will work to repair or correct any manufacturing faults. We must be contacted prior to any item being shipped back to us for repair. The customer is responsible for including a detailed written report of the area that they believe needs correction or repair. Items found to be caused by the customer will be corrected at the expense of the customer. A return authorization number must be obtained from Borden Rifles before returning an item for repair or inspection.

Borden Rifles will not issue a refund or accept a return of any rifle or action that performs to and meets our quality standards. If a rifle is returned without a “return authorization” number or permission by any of Borden’s staff, Borden’s is not obligated to perform any work or refunds for any reason.

Shipping Charges on Returns
